Enjoy the countryside with guided walks
Step out this Easter holiday and enjoy the local countryside and
wildlife in the Wyre Forest Area.
Residents are invited to enjoy a selection of the district's
local Nature Reserves by joining others on a guided walk. The walks
will be organised by Wyre Forest District Council and led by a
trained walk leader.
A guided walk will take place at Burlish Top on Tuesday
13th April and Springfield Park on Thursday
15th April. The walk at Burlish will meet at the
entrance on Gould Avenue and the Springfield walk will meet at
Springfield Park car park.
Each walk will start at 2pm and last approximately one and
a half hours. Both of the walks are free and any children
under 16 who attend need to be accompanied by an adult.
Anyone interested in joining either walk is advised to book and on
the day wear comfortable shoes and suitable clothing for the day's
weather conditions.
