Boredom is banned with Playdays at Our Place
Sing, climb and somersault to dizzying heights on Wednesday
4th August at Lickhill Memorial Park in Stourport.
Thrill seekers can come and scale the highest mobile climbing
wall in the UK or turn the world upside down on Bungee Trampolines.
Keep the adrenaline pumping with football games organised by
Kidderminster Harriers or join our energetic summer team in a
variety of sports and games. If you prefer to keep your feet
firmly on the ground come and show off your musical talents on our
very own Karaoke stage. No buzzers allowed!
Boredom is banned at Playdays organised by Wyre Forest District
Council with activities and entertainment for all. This year's
theme is 'Our Place' putting children at the heart of our
communities, encouraging everyone, young and old, to create a
better environment for us all to live and play.
Join the fun from 11am until 3pm, the event is open to all
children although children under 8 must be accompanied by an
adult. The event is free but there will be a small
charge for some of the activities.
Councillor Tracey Onslow, Wyre Forest District Council's Cabinet
Member for Community and Partnership Services said,
"We have an excellent summer programme to keep the children
happy this summer. If you want to simply enjoy the local area
outdoors, we have wonderful parks and nature reserves which are
always worth a visit too."
For ideas on how to entertain the children during the summer
holidays view the Summer Activity programme and book events
online. Copies of the programme are also available from
Worcestershire Hubs at Kidderminster Town Hall, Stourport Civic
Centre and Load Street, Bewdley. For telephone bookings call
