Postal vote packs sent

Postal ballot papers have now been mailed to residents who've opted to vote by post in the elections.  The papers will arrive from Wednesday 28 April.  Look out for your envelope marked "ballot paper" and, if you haven't received it by this Friday 30 April, please telephone the Worcestershire Hub on 01562 732928 or contact us by email.

Ian Miller, Returning Officer at Wyre Forest District Council said,

"Once you receive your ballot paper in the post, mark your vote and follow the instructions carefully about how to complete the declaration of identity and how to seal up the envelope. Please send it back immediately.

"Your vote needs to be with us by 10 pm on the day of the election, the close of poll.  If it arrives later than this, your vote won't be counted. If you forget to post the envelope in time, you can hand the envelope in on the day of the election at your registered polling station."

Date of issue - 28th April 2010
