Your money, your choice

Setting the budget is one of the key events in the Council’s calendar. This involves the Council making important decisions on your behalf about how to spend your money on the services it provides.

Decisions will be made in February 2010 on how money should be allocated amongst council services such as refuse and recycling, leisure centres and sports development and health and safety inspections. To find out more about the budget setting process watch a video message from the Leader of the Council. (15,811K)

It is important for you to be aware of how the process works and for the Council to have your views on the choices faced in arriving at the budget.
