Health and Safety
Wyre Forest District Council’s Health and Safety Team are
responsible for making sure that employers and their employees are
aware of and follow regulations laid down within the Health and
Safety Act.
They perform a number of duties such as: health and safety
inspections, accident and incident investigations, providing advice
and guidance and carrying out enforcement.
Dangerous Structures/Demolition
Wyre Forest District Council Building Control are empowered to act,
in the interest of health and safety, where it appears that
buildings or structures are in a dangerous condition.
When intending to demolish a building, a notice must be made to the
Building Control section, which is usually a minimum of six weeks
prior to work commencing.
