What is the Blue Badge Scheme?
The Blue Badge Scheme provides parking concessions nationally for people with severe walking difficulties who travel either as drivers or passengers.
The scheme allows badge holders to park free of charge on public highways (subject to exceptions). Badge holders may usually park on single or double yellow lines for up to 3 hours .
