Recycling Banks - Locations

Before the introduction of the kerbside recycling scheme, the recycling banks were the most popular place for people to take their recyclables. From these alone we managed to achieve an 8% recycling rate.

The main types of recycling banks that we have are for paper, glass, cans, textiles and now Tetra-Pak waxed drinks cartons. Recycling banks contracted by the Wyre Forest District Council are located at the following sites:

There are more recycling facilities available at the civic amenity sites including oil banks, car battery banks and corrugated card recycling. We aim to keep the recycling banks looking as clean and tidy as possible by emptying them regularly and tidying around them.
