AND DUE TO CURRENT LARGE WAITING LISTS
WE ARE AT PRESENT UNABLE TO TAKE ANY FURTHER REQUESTS FOR ALLOTMENT PLOTS.
We have eight allotment sites in Kidderminster and one in Cookley with a total of 228 allotment plots
that are administered from our offices in Green Street, Kidderminster.

Waiting lists are operated on a "first come first served" basis with priority being given to residents of the Wyre
Forest District.
We have varying sizes of allotments, some full size plots (average 250m2) and some half-size to suit all prospective
plot-holders.
Prices are based on the size of plot (average charge being approximately £30 per year for full size plot). Reduced charges
are available if in receipt of retirement pension or jobseekers allowance (half normal price) or if taking on an overgrown
plot (charge reduced or no charge made).
All sites (with the exception of Chester Road and Railway Bridge) have an elected representative to attend Meetings with the
Council Officers and to liaise on issues relating to the Site.
We hold an annual competition for anyone wishing to enter with categories for the best allotments on each site, overall winner and potato cup. A presentation evening takes place to award the certificates and prizes.
