Kidderminster Cemetery

||

History

The Council manages the cemetery in Kidderminster which is set in 16 acres, in a quiet location next to Brinton Park. The first recorded burials took place in 1865 in the non-conformist older part of the site. A chapel was built with a Palladium frontage and although no longer used, is a grade 2 listed building. The Cemetery was extended in the mid 1800s and a second chapel built in 1877.

The Cemetery supports a range of wildlife with several hundred mature trees including copper beech, oak, corsican pine and english elm plus a variety of other flora.
