Customer Complaints
If you want to complain about something the Council has done, or has failed to do, you can register your complaint.Within three working days of receiving your complaint we will let you know that we are dealing with it.
We will try to resolve your problem at once, however if this is not possible we will send you a full written reply within fifteen working days of receiving your complaint and give you our decision and the reasons for it.
If you would rather talk to us about your complaint face to face we will be happy to arrange to meet you.(Steps 1 and 2 of Complaints Procedure only).
If your complaint is complex, our inquiry may take longer, but the officer looking into your complaint will let you know if there is going to be a delay and tell you when you will get a full reply.

The Local Government Ombudsman cannot deal with
complaints about Housing Associations - these are dealt with by the Housing Ombudsman Service.
You can contact the Ombudsman at any time, but you should give us the chance to look into the matter first by going
through our own complaints system.
