Polling station data 2023
Polling station data by ward
Polling station data for elections on 4 May 2023:
- How many people voted using a voter authority certificate. This is a form of photo ID issued to electors who applied for it, stating that they did not have one of the valid forms of photo ID (such as a passport or driving licence);
- How many people were not issued with a ballot paper because they did not have photo ID or because they showed a type of photo ID that was not valid under the legislation; and how many of them subsequently returned, produced valid photo ID and were able to vote (questions 4a to 4d);
- How many people were refused a ballot paper because of one of the three reasons shown; and how many of them subsequently returned, produced valid photo ID and were able to vote (questions 5a to 5e).
The data are constructed from information provided by the presiding officer at each polling station and, as far as is reasonably possible, are believed to be correct.
